Foie Gras and apple mille-feullie

Foie Gras and apple mille-feuilles recipe for 6 people. Estimated time: 30 min

Ingredients

  • 250 gr. Foie Gras
  • 2 large apples
  • 1 roll of goat’s cheese
  • Butter

Preparation

First, cut the apples into thin strips (peeling them and removing the core).

We preheat the oven to 180ºC then, while waiting for it to heat up, we paint the oven tray with butter, place the apples on the tray and finish painting them on top with the butter. Place the tray in the oven and cook for 12-15 minutes. Take them out and let them cool. Then cut the liver into thin slices.

In a rectangular mold, put a layer of apples then a layer of liver on top, until you get 4 layers of apple and 3 layers of liver. We then remove the goat cheese crust, cut it into slices, then place it on the last layer of apples.

We cover the mold with aluminum foil and put it in the oven (which has already been preheated to 180ºC) then let it cook for 12 to 15 minutes again. Take it out and let it cool completely. The millefeuille is ready! You can cut it into thin slices and accompany it with toast or savory biscuits such as TUC.
