
Make a splash right from the aperitif with this easy-to-make recipe worthy of a top chef! You’ll need just 4 ingredients to make it: whipped cream and foie gras, plus gingerbread mouillettes fried in butter.

Recipe ingredients
- 200 g block of foie gras
- 6 slices gingerbread
- 30 cl very cold liquid cream
- 40 g butter
- salt and pepper
Recipe preparation
1. Remove the foie gras from its tin and the butter from its packaging, and leave to soften at room temperature.
2. Whip the very cold cream until stiff. Season with salt and pepper. Mash the foie gras and butter with a fork to obtain a smooth paste. Gently fold this mixture into the whipped cream.
3. Spoon into small glasses and chill for at least 3 h. Serve with toasted gingerbread muffins.
