Si tratta di un dolce gourmet con un forte legame con la casa basca, da cui il soprannome di <em>&#8220;biscotto della casa <\/em>&#8220;.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Torta basca<\/h2>\n\n<p>Vero e proprio emblema della gastronomia basca, \u00e8 un grande classico. Al giorno d&#8217;oggi si trova in tutti i supermercati, ma non perde mai le sue origini. Rotondo e dorato, si chiama <em>&#8220;etxeko bixkotxa <\/em>&#8221; in basco. \u00c8 sia croccante che morbido.     <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le origini del G\u00e2teau Basque<\/h3>\n\n<p>\nLa\ntorta basca \u00e8 una ricetta dolce apparsa per la prima volta nei Paesi Baschi nella seconda met\u00e0 del XIX secolo. \u00c8\ntradizionalmente preparata dalla padrona di casa con pane\ne taloak. Solo una piccola parte della popolazione basca\nlo consumava all&#8217;epoca (Bassa Navarra e Labourd). E solo\nin occasioni speciali come le feste o le\ndomeniche. Ogni anno si tiene un festival in onore di\nquesta dolce prelibatezza e un museo \u00e8 interamente dedicato ad essa! Nel\nXX secolo, i panettieri artigianali cominciarono a\ncommercializzare questo dolce nei loro negozi e nei mercati.\nDivenne molto popolare, fino a quando non fu appropriato da\nnegli anni &#8217;80.       \n<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I diversi sapori del G\u00e2teau Basque<\/h3>\n\n<p>In origine, la torta basca poteva avere molti ripieni, a seconda della frutta a disposizione della padrona di casa che la preparava. Ogni donna di casa aveva una ricetta diversa, che trasmetteva oralmente a una figlia, a una sorella, ecc. Questo dolce basco \u00e8 composto da una base tradizionale (burro, farina) a cui vengono aggiunti zucchero, uova e un ripieno, spesso aromatizzato. I gusti pi\u00f9 comuni sono limone, vaniglia, rum e mandorle. La torta basca include quindi un ripieno.
