Crist\u00f3bal Col\u00f3n lo trajo a Europa en su primer viaje. Con el tiempo, se desarrollaron en Espa\u00f1a varios tipos de pimiento, entre ellos el piquillo.    <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La guindilla que no pica<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Aunque es una guindilla, su sabor no es en absoluto picante. Al contrario, es suave y no provoca calor ni hormigueo en la boca. De hecho, si mides el piquillo en la escala Scoville, mide entre 500 y 1.000 unidades Scoville de calor, lo que hace que su picor sea casi indetectable. El piquillo es esencialmente un pimiento dulce. De unos 5 a 7 cm de largo, adquieren un color rojo brillante cuando est\u00e1n maduros. El piquillo se reconoce por su forma triangular y su punta finamente curvada, parecida al pico de un p\u00e1jaro, \u00a1de ah\u00ed su nombre!       <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se come?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Al igual que\nel pimiento, el piquillo tiene una piel m\u00e1s gruesa, que le da un sabor m\u00e1s dulce\ncuando se come crudo. Los piquillos pueden cocinarse del mismo modo que los pimientos -\n- y saben mucho mejor cuando se\ncuecen o asan.   \n<\/p>\n\n<p>Generalmente,\npiquillo se adoba, se fr\u00ede o se asa. Debido a su tama\u00f1o y a su sustancia\n, se suele utilizar para preparar pimientos rellenos\n. Tambi\u00e9n puede utilizarse para complementar el sabor de una\nsopa o salsa.    \n<\/p>\n\n<p>\npiquillo puede conservarse en aceite de oliva durante poco tiempo, pero\ntambi\u00e9n es excelente asado al fuego.  \n<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Receta\npiquillo sencillo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>En\nencontrar\u00e1s los ingredientes de una sencilla pero deliciosa receta de piquillos.\n:  \n<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n  Una caja de piquillos\n \n\t<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Una lata de at\u00fan\n \n\t<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  4\n cucharadas de salsa de tomate\n\t<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  1\n huevo cocido\n\t<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  De\n vinagre de vino\n\t<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  Aceite,\n sal y perejil\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Coloca\ndos piquillos y la salsa de tomate en un bol y m\u00e9zclalos con una batidora.\n Vierte el at\u00fan y el huevo desmenuzado en la salsa\n. Puedes a\u00f1adir lo que quieras. Ahora\nrellena el resto de los pimientos con una cucharilla.
