Su residencia \u00abMaison Louis XIV\u00bb, situada en Saint-Jean de Luz, es hoy la casa m\u00e1s cara del mundo.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>La casa de Luis XIV o Lohobiague-Enea<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n<p>Lohobiague-Enea era el nombre de la casa antes de que se convirtiera en la \u00abMaison de Luis XIV\u00bb, en honor al Rey despu\u00e9s de que se alojara all\u00ed durante 40 d\u00edas entre mayo y junio de 1660, a\u00f1o en el que firm\u00f3 el Tratado de los Pirineos, que pon\u00eda fin a la guerra con Espa\u00f1a con la condici\u00f3n de que el rey franc\u00e9s se casara con su prima, la infanta Mar\u00eda Teresa de Espa\u00f1a. Clasificada como monumento hist\u00f3rico, la casa de Luis XIV, de arquitectura tradicional vasca, fue construida en 1648 por una pareja de ricos armadores, Johannis Lohobiague y su esposa Marie-Sol de Hirigoyen.\n<\/p>\n\n<p> \n<\/p>\n\n<p> \n<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>El pueblo de San Juan de Luz o Donibane Lohitzun<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n<p>Desde antes del siglo XIX, San Juan de Luz era conocido como el pueblo de los pescadores y del comercio mar\u00edtimo. Actualmente, su atractivo consiste principalmente en la belleza de sus playas y del Pa\u00eds Vasco. El puerto del pueblo, construido en el siglo XII, fue testigo del enorme \u00e9xito de la pesca y el comercio tropical de la \u00e9poca, que llev\u00f3 a que all\u00ed se construyeran mansiones que hoy forman parte de la riqueza arquitect\u00f3nica del pa\u00eds.
