More than\ntwo kilometers long, the organized tour takes place between\nJuly and September at low tide from 8 a.m. to\ndusk each day.<\/p>\n\n
These gorges are a\nof the wildest and most prestigious sites in the whole of the\nEuropean continent, preserved, protected and open to the\npublic, they are awe-inspiring. A visit here is a veritable\njourney into the very roots of the Basque Country. The site boasts\ncanyons, water-filled walls stretching for over 350 m, which\nyou can discover on a path set right in the heart\nof the luxuriant natural environment. The gorges that only the most experienced\nand well-equipped climbers would dare to attempt. \n<\/p>\n\n
A passage\ncalled “grand \u00e9troit” is the most grandiose of the\nvisit, which will make you feel the smallness of the human being. The\npath skirts the torrent, which you cross via a footbridge.\nAfter a good hour’s walk through nature on\nfootbridges, stairways, balconies and the path, which is perfectly safe at\n, you reach the famous waterfall, which falls to a height of over twenty\nmetres, the origins of which are still unknown. Later, at\n, the visit will lead to the discovery of the lake caves for the more curious\nwith their enormous stalactites and stalagmites. \n<\/p>\n\n
