A simple but effective recipe for Armagnac Foie Gras Canapés! The star of the catwalk at last in a recipe ideal for Christmas preparations.
Ingredients
- 200 g foie gras flavored with Armagnac, cut into thin slices
- 16 mini-toasts or slices of toast
- 4 tablespoons onion jam (or fig jam, whichever you prefer)
- A few sprigs of fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
- On each mini-toast or slice of toast, spread a tablespoon of onion (or fig) jam to add a sweet touch.
- Place a thin slice of Armagnac-flavored foie gras on each toast, making sure it covers the jam.
- Lightly season the foie gras with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- If you like, garnish each canapé with a sprig of fresh parsley to add freshness and color.
- Serve these foie gras canapés with Armagnac as an aperitif or starter. They’re quick to prepare, elegant and deliciously tasty.
