Turron de Jijona is a soft nougat made from ground almonds. It is light brown, has a soft texture and crumbles very easily. It is a delicious mixture of toasted almonds, sugar, egg white and honey.

Alicante Turron is known as a hard nougat due to its crunchy texture due to the unique roasting of almonds and the mixture of honey and egg white. It’s a classic!

The Peanut and Honey Turron is crispy, with an inimitable flavor, much appreciated by all.

Turron with Grilled Egg Yolk is made from ground almonds and egg yolk. Its colour, aroma and flavour are those of the egg yolk that participates in the elaboration, carefully combined with the almond.

Turron with cream and nuts is one of those specialties that everyone loves. With a very mild flavor, it is sweet just enough because the bitterness of the nuts is opposed to the sugar and almonds. One of the most traditional flavors that have been made for decades.

  • The Turron of Jijona

    • Net weight: 150gr
    • Shelf life: 9 months minimum. Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture. Once opened, it should be kept in the refrigerator because it begins to lose its organoleptic qualities; Jijona nougat dries out a little.
    • Ingredients: Roasted almonds 64%, honey 12%, sugar, glucose syrup, egg white and emulsifier: (E-471).
    • May contain traces of peanuts, sesame and hazelnuts.
  • The Turron of Alicante

    • Net weight: 150gr
    • Shelf life: 9 months minimum. Once opened, it should be stored in a dry place.
    • Ingredients: Toasted almonds 60%, sugar, glucose syrup, honey 12%, wafer coating (potato starch and sunflower oil) as well as egg white.
    • May contain traces of peanuts, sesame and hazelnuts.
  • Peanut Turron

    • Net weight : 200gr
    • Shelf life : 9 months minimum. In addition, once opened, it should be stored in a dry place.
    • Ingredients : Roasted peanuts 38%, sugar, glucose syrup, honey, wafers (potato starch and sunflower oil) and egg white.
    • May contain traces of almonds, hazelnuts and sesame.
  • Turron with Catalan Cream

    • Net weight: 200gr
    • Shelf life : 9 months minimum. Once opened, it should be stored in a dry place.
    • Ingredients : Sugar, almond, egg yolk (7%), glucose syrup and a preservative (E-200).
    • May contain traces of nuts and milk.
  • Turron with Cream and Walnuts

    • Net weight: 200gr
    • Shelf life: 9 months minimum. Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture. Once opened, keep in the refrigerator as it begins to lose its organoleptic qualities.
    • Ingredients: Sugar, almonds, walnuts (7%), whole milk powder 5%, preservative (sorbic acid E-200) and cream flavouring. May contain traces of egg.
  • The Turron Guirlache (with caramel):

      • Net weight: 200gr
      • Shelf life: 9 months minimum. Once opened, store in a dry place.
      • Ingredients: 60% toasted almonds, sugar, glucose syrup, honey and wafers (potato starch and sunflower oil).
      • May contain traces of egg, peanut, sesame and hazelnut.

Maria Simona’s turron is made according to the traditional recipe and therefore we use only top quality Spanish ingredients.

Finally, our turron has a designation of origin and is protected by the Regulatory Council of Jijona.
