1. Controls
Any order placed on the site implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale, which will be solely applicable to the contract thus concluded between the Customer and Relais Gourmet.
Order confirmation
The order is taken into account only after validation of the purchase on the www.relaisgourmet.com,c website, i.e. validation of the payment made by the Customer using one of the payment solutions proposed on the website.
Relais Gourmet reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of a breach by the Customer of any of its obligations, and more generally, to refuse any order that is abnormal for any reason whatsoever.
The order is final only after confirmation by Relais Gourmet. Relais Gourmet will confirm the acceptance of the order to the user by e-mail or mail, or, where appropriate, its refusal within 48 hours of entering the order on the site.
Concerning the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L. 121-16 of the French Consumer Code, for all distance transactions, the customer has a period of 7 clear days from delivery of the order to return the product and be reimbursed the full price of the order.
2. Obligations
Relais Gourmet’s obligations
If an order is accepted, Relais Gourmet undertakes to sell and ship the products ordered by the Customer via La Poste within 5 working days following the preparation of the order in France, 10 days in Europe and 15 days in other countries.
Customer obligations
The customer undertakes to complete the order form accurately.
The Customer may not resell the products, as the order must be for personal use or for the personal use of the person for whom the shipment is intended, unless otherwise agreed by Relais Gourmet.
3. Specific provisions
Product prices and shipping costs are invoiced inclusive of all taxes.
Prices are guaranteed within the limits of available stocks and subject to changes in the VAT rate. Any change in the VAT rate will be immediately reflected in the sales prices.
The total price indicated in the order confirmation by Relais Gourmet is the final price.
The price of products on the Relais Gourmet website is expressed in Euros. Amounts expressed in other currencies are provided for information purposes only.
4. Payment
We guarantee the security of your payment. The security protocols used by the Caisse d’Epargne and PayPal guarantee total confidentiality of personal information transmitted through our Relais Gourmet site. Your credit card details are encrypted and pass through a secure network. Payment is made directly to the Caisse d’Epargne or PayPal website, so Relais Gourmet has no access to your bank details, nor any record of them.
5. Delivery
We deliver our products worldwide. We assume all risks associated with the transport of your order. In the event of damage, please contact us and we will refund the full amount of your purchase, as well as the shipping costs in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale.
We can deliver within 48 hours anywhere in Europe for orders placed before 10am (except Saturday, Sunday and public holidays). To use our express delivery service, call us directly on (+33) 09 51 76 13 60.
Delivery in France and Europe by Colissimo takes approximately 5 to 10 working days after order confirmation. Outside Europe, we ship with transport and logistics companies. Please allow 10 to 15 working days for delivery. Relais Gourmet cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery. To find out more, read the shipping information page.
If the recipient is absent when the parcel is deposited, Relais Gourmet cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for any deterioration that may occur to the products, or for non-collection by the recipient.
6. Money-back guarantee
Our customers undertake to adhere strictly to the storage conditions for the products, as well as the use-by date indicated on the packaging. It is also the recipient’s responsibility to check the number and condition of products on receipt.
Our return policy is simple: we accept the return of all new items within 15 days. All returned products must be in their original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase. We do not accept returns of items that are not in their original condition, i.e. products that have been opened to more than 15% of their original total weight.
Returns of products for exchange or reimbursement may only be made by post to the following address: Relais Gourmet – Je retourne les produits, 14 rue Burugoria 64700 Hendaye – France. Please pack the returned items very carefully and return them to us with the invoice and a letter specifying the nature of the exchange and the nature of the refund (possible choices: by cheque or gift voucher). In the event of non-conforming delivery, a complaint must be made in writing to Relais Gourmet within 24 hours of delivery. All disputes will be settled by the competent courts of Bayonne (France).
