Dann haben Sie bestimmt schon einmal von Piment d&#8217;Espelette geh\u00f6rt. Wenn Sie ihn probiert haben, wissen Sie ihn sicherlich zu sch\u00e4tzen. Und das aus gutem Grund: Es handelt sich um den einzigen scharfen Paprika Frankreichs und er besitzt die Klassifizierung AOC (Appellation d&#8217;Origine Contr\u00f4l\u00e9e)! <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Der Piment d&#8217;Espelette, ein Muss!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Im Gegensatz zu dem, was man glauben k\u00f6nnte, stammt der Piment d&#8217;Espelette nicht aus dem Baskenland! Tats\u00e4chlich stammt er urspr\u00fcnglich aus S\u00fcdamerika, wurde aber w\u00e4hrend des 16. Jahrhunderts ins Baskenland eingef\u00fchrt. Die Piment d&#8217;Espelette wurde nicht von Anfang an in der K\u00fcche verwendet, da sie zun\u00e4chst f\u00fcr medizinische Zwecke eingesetzt wurde. Erst sp\u00e4ter gelangte er in die K\u00fcchen, um Fleisch zu konservieren und Pfeffer in Gerichten zu ersetzen. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Die Stadt dieser Chilischote, die es zu entdecken gilt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Der Piment d&#8217;Espelette hat es sich in einem Dorf gleichen Namens gem\u00fctlich gemacht: Espelette in den Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-Atlantiques. Die Einheimischen sch\u00e4tzen vor allem sein Aroma, das durch eine lange Trocknung in der Sonne entsteht. Aber der Pilent hat so sehr \u00fcberzeugt, dass er sogar eigene Derivate hervorgebracht hat, wie z. B.
